✨🍁 FALL GROUNDING ✨

It’s October, time to get earthy! Let your worries fall like leaves for just a few minutes! Grounding is a term used in conjunction with the energy fields around us. Being "grounded" means that we're content with who we are and where we are in context to “being” in the present moment. Grounding helps ease stress and anxiety.

HOW TO GET GROUNDED:

  1. MAKE SPACE. Indoors or Outdoors! Make a cozy corner for relaxation and meditation. Grab your favorite blankets, pillows, and plants.

  2. SET THE MOOD. Put on a sound bath meditation (find sound bath meditations on YouTube)! Light some nag champa incense. Sprinkle some Frankincense essential oil around the space.

  3. BE STILL. Lay on your back, palms down for grounding. Place an eye mask over your tired eyes. Here’s the hardest part- don’t move! Find stillness for at least 15-25 minutes! Thank yourself afterward for giving yourself the care you deserve!

As you resume with the chaos called life, know that you can find GROUNDING at any time! 🌟

MORE ON GROUNDING. Grounding, also called earthing, is a therapeutic technique that involves doing activities that “ground” or electrically reconnect you to the earth. This practice relies on earthing science and grounding physics to explain how electrical charges from the earth can have positive effects on your body.

Grounding is an effective way to calm anxiety during a panic attack. In this process, you identify objects around you to help your brain recognize where you are. This creates a sense of comfort because you know where you are and you feel more in control of the situation.
